Your data is stored securely using Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. Skarya.ai implements technical and organizational safeguards consistent with SOC 2 principles to protect data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. Despite these efforts, no online service can guarantee absolute security, and users acknowledge that they use the beta Service at their own risk.

5. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Skarya.ai uses artificial intelligence (“AI”) features (currently powered by Google’s Gemini AI service) to help users improve clarity, tone, and consistency. The text you provide may be transmitted securely to Gemini’s systems for processing. We do not use your personal data, nor any data retrieved from Google API services (such as Calendar events), to train or improve third-party AI models.

6. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information with:

  • Service providers who perform services on our behalf;
  • Business partners with whom we jointly offer products or services;
  • Third parties in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets;
  • Law enforcement as required by law or to protect our rights and interests.

7. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell or rent personal data. We may share information only with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service, such as cloud hosting, analytics, or email delivery providers. All such third parties are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.

8. International Data Transfers

As a global platform, we may store and process data in multiple regions, including Australia and India. By using the Service, you consent to your information being transferred and processed in these locations.

Personal data collected during the beta phase will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy. Please note that Google Calendar data is fetched in real-time and is not stored permanently in our database.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the 'last updated' date.

13. Google API Limited Use Disclosure

Skarya.ai's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We specifically use calendar.events.readonly permissions solely to display your upcoming meetings within the Skarya.ai dashboard to assist with your project management. We do not sell, use, or share this data for advertising purposes.
